“All Journalists bring personal bias
into the newsroom. It is our job to make sure that bias doesn’t
color the news. I work hard to do that: tell the story and not
what I think the story should be”.
As co-anchor of the 5pm and 6:30pm and 11pm weekday newscasts, Stan Miller
is passionate about the news he delivers on KFMB-TV.
Stan Miller is a familiar face to many San Diegans. He’s
among the most popular, well-known, and respected anchors in the
area. This is due, in part, to his 26-year broadcast career. Prior
to moving to San Diego, Stan anchored in such markets as Cleveland,
Dallas and Miami. Most recently he was the popular host of KUSI-TV's
morning show. He returned to KFMB-TV in January, 2005, having
been a part of the station's successful news team in the late
1980's and early 1990's. "It's great to be home again. KFMB
was where it all started for me here in San Diego and I’m
so fortunate to be working with the best news team in the market."
Stan enjoys surfing, playing golf, and riding his Harley. He and
his wife Sally, along with their sons Ryan, Matt and daughter
Kaitlyn, are all active San Diegans.
